Crytivo Store Web Developer (PHP)

Crytivo is looking for a backend developer with a decent bit of frontend knowledge to join us in making the Crytivo Store the best place for both gamers and developers alike to enjoy gaming as it was meant to be. This means no microtransactions, no loot boxes, and no exploitative day-one DLC. Additionally, if you are found to be a great fit for the company, we would love for you to assist us in creating fantastic new features for the store. We are all about crafting the best online experience possible, and you will play a big part in that. Responsibilities: Assist with numerous database-related features. Create and/or support major features upon which the Crytivo Store relies. Work with the team to design or improve upon UI, use cases, and so on. Ensure that your work follows best-practice coding principles and development guidelines. Share your expertise with the web crew and associated members. Requirements: 3+ years of web dev experience. Must be familiar with Linux at an advanced user level (admin skills are a plus). Excellent PHP and database (Firebird SQL, including stored procedures; Redis knowledge; backend optimization) skills. Must have solid understanding of and experience with frontend (HTML, CSS) development. Excellent understanding of security requirements and source control. Strong English skills (for communication with team members). Ability to work with a diverse team from around the world. Excellent discipline to work remotely. Available from 09:00 to 16:00 PST. Pluses: Prior experience working on large web services tailored towards games or online shopping (with high user volumes). Nginx caching experience.
