Hi, prior to the yahoo API closing down I used to download lots of equity marked data for a trading program I had developed. I can no longer do this and am looking for someone who can program some VBA code for me to download the information I need from the web on demand. The format needs to be - Date - Open - High - Low - Close - Volume - This should be the headers for each on the 6 columns with the required data underneath. The only exception being the header of the date column should be the ticker symbol of the stock. When downloading I need to specify an end date for the data and then how many days of data preceding the end date I want, i.e. 20/8/2018 and 1000 days of data preceding this date. Preferably this data would come from a site that has as many world markets as possible but if not I would prefer US data and then Australian data sources. I will upload an excel file with the required format. My old code would loop through a list of stock tickers and download the information for each stock and place it in a worksheet in the format attached. It worked quite fast and I could generally download all 500 stocks in the S&P500 with a 1000 days data in under 2 mins. I have tried two paid sources but they were both unreliable and hung when downloading lots of data.
