Hey, Outdoor travel startup looking for a freelance full stack developer for a 6 month project. Project is in 2 phases: Phase 1: Move current sites (2 of them) from non-mobile friendly platform to a WP template while integrating our current booking system to ensure our functionality. Set up either AWS server, or Heroku server to host temporary site and booking system. This will allow us to be more functional while we work on phase 2. Phase 2: Build a custom website & booking system with a custom CMS. Booking CMS must allow for worker log-in, vendor-login and vendor submission. Live in the NYC area and/or can set up shop at our office MUST be familiar with calendar reservation system like Rent the Runway MUST be familiar with a ticketing system for tour groups such as those used by expedia, [login to view URL] etc.. 5-7 years’ experience in PHP & MySQL using Web development technologies such as web services, XML, HTML5, CSS, AJAX, JAVA, JavaScript (JQuery, JSON), API integration 4 years’ experience with Ecommerce applications including catalog, shopping cart, merchandising and payment handling Experience in code versioning and related tools, such as Subversion, Git Familiar with agile methodologies Excellent attention to detail to ensure quality across all browser and device types Must have a strong project orientation, works well with deadlines, good follow up and follow through skills Please only send work that has to do with tourism and travel industry.
