I have a shape that is to process.
1. Find centroid, rotate, scale if required and draw and count the boxes as shown in figure 2. in all four quadrant with 5mmX5mm.
2. remove the curve edges and calculate the difference in area and make the whole boundary in red colour.
3. Turn the boxes red colour, Counting from origin at a distance of 50mm.
4. Move each column near to the edge away from centre. These distances will be different in all column. This is what we need to print the figure with description.

My preferred method of freelancing is an interactive approach to project solving.
I have an MSEE specializing in Digital Signal/Image/RF Processing.
I do my work in MATLAB (expert).
I also do Python programming.
If I understand correctly, it's a problem of positioning the air gripper in an optimal position to pick up an object. I'm assuming that the input is a camera image that is fairly high-contrast and directly over the object so that it's easy to process. Once the image is extracted it should be fairly straight forward to identify the centroid and if necessary, to rotate the shape in increments.
Can I assume that the shape is convex?
Do you care which programming language is used?
Is there more than one air gripper?
I'll need more clarification, but this looks like an interesting project.
