I need to control a step motor with Arduino by pushing a button and IR sensor (GP2Y0D805Z0F) for borders, every press will activate the motor for "x" steps and from that "x" steps the IR sensor will stop the motor. Hello blanka34, Let me know if I understood correctly: When you press the button, the motor will start moving a fixed amount of X steps. If the IR sensor detects something, then the motor should stop immediately. Otherwise the motor should complete the X steps. Is it correct? I look forward to your reply. Thank you.
