I recently had developers build my website. I am not an engineer, I am a financial analyst, but I the principles of coding a little bit, I know some html, some python and some SQL Walk me through and set me up so I can change the text on my website so it has the best copy and I can update it myself so I can keep iterating it to be the best words. It takes a long time to update developers and if I could do it on my own I believe I can make a better product. Duties - Help me set up the systems, access, cpanel, and show me how to push code base updates to my website for very simple things - show me how to see how it would look if I made the changes, and then how to push it onto the website to make it live. - Share my screen with me, and tell me what to do, while I record it, so I can refer back to it to do it again. If I have questions answer it for me. - I am thinking I can ctrl+f the text and replace it with other (similar length) text and replace it on the website. I want to see how it would look as an example, and if I like it, make it live. - I believe the the website has php, sql, jquery, I am not sure, you can probably view the source code and tell me what type of script language it is. Hello... I can teach you how to update your website. I am a Full Stack Web Developer cuŕrently working in this domain. My skills include and are not limited to PHP , OOP , MVC, MYSQL , jQuery , Ajax, HTML5 and CSS3 but also laravel, codeignitor,node js etc... I dont think your website contents are static. (means most contents are not hardcoded ).i think they are dynamically loading from database. you can update static parts using ctrl+f and replacing the text.. if other parts are loading from database.. its better if you have an admin panel.. otherwise you will have to edit them from the database itself from cpanel phpmyadmin..
