I'm working for a chemical company and we manufacture 26000 chemical products which is being supplied to research industries all over the world. As our products are chemical substances, we need to prepare a declaration which contains the technical specifications of each product. Currently we are having the relevant technical information for each product in an excel file. We are looking for a freelancer who can develop a page for us where we can select our customer number & product numbers. If we do so, then the technical information have to be pulled out from the excel file and report has to be generated as per the file uploaded below

Hi there, I propose to develop a system in Excel that will be able to produce your shipping declaration page. The system will use a VBA backend to do the lookups and can give useful error feedback to the user. The display page can be formatted in Excel and the relevant populated using the program. I will need more information on the structure of your Excel database, and the information you require for the technical information. If you would like to discuss an expansion of the scope it would be good to place the technical information in a database format such that the indexing speed can be greatly increased. I have built quite a few applications and you can check my reviews through my freelancer profile. I would like to build this application using C# .net 4.5.2 framework and MS-SQL. You can opt for either an web application (can open anywhere via browser using internet; needs web server), or a desktop application (which you install in pc/laptop). I have seen the template. Will not be a problem preparing the application. And your excel sheep can be uploaded(add/edit/delete) in the same application so it will pull details when you write a id number or name. you can share the 26000 products list so I can make the first look.

Para este proyecto desarrollare web services para acceder a la planilla excel, filtrar los datos y enviarlos al solicitante, una vez recibidos se los almacenara de modo a poder recuperarlos y imprimirlos, ya sea en papel o PDF. Los 10 (diez) que durara el proyecto, se dividira de la sgte. manera: Un dia para analisis, siete dias para desarrollo y dos dias para pruebas, hasta obtener un reporte igual al de la muestra. Los datos que deberan enviar en caso que acepten mi propuesta son: Una muestra de la planilla excel, la plataforma donde se encuentra y la via para llegar a ella.
