Need Several .doc files merged with custom Headers. A csv file will be provided, as well as a .doc header file. The csv file has all the elements needed for the header except 1.. The missing one can be retrieved from the documents themselves (.doc without headers) The csv file, as its first column, has the file path of the doc file that has to be inserted into the the newly create header. 20k+ files.

Hi, I'm an Australian Senior Software Devloper with 20+ years experience, specialising in .NET. I am very familiar with Office automation, creating and modifying .DOC(x) (or .XLS(x)) files programatically. I would like to see a sample of the header DOC, a sample CSV and sample DOCs to be modified before commiting, but can't see any reason why they should contain anything that couldn't be manipulated as per your requests. Of course you can do this in vb but in powershell is muhc more easier (at least for me). I will need a sample of the csv and doc files and I will let you know exactly how long it will take.
