To derive a number of equations that will represent various video color spaces in linear 3D RGB space and in 2D non-linear YCrCb.
What I need is a set of equations that will model the following REC based color spaces in 3D:
BT.601 8bpp (bits per pixel)
BT.709 8bpp
BT.2020 8bpp, 10bpp, 12bpp
1) The cube related 3D equations are to determine the outer limits of the gamut of each of the specifications noted above in both RGB and standard xyz format. We will then map\model the 3D gamut outline from the equations showing the boundary limits for that color space. The purpose is to allow video input sources like real-time video, static images like ref color charts etc., to easily see and determine gamut min\max values and any gamut errors. Include quantization considerations in the equations if necessary.
2) The YCrCb equations are to include --with and without the quantization offsets for white and black limits.
Deliverables are simply the equations that are to be well documented and defined and a color graphic plot or video simulation (Matlab etal) of your work for each color space.
I will not accept proprietary works as there will be no consideration for royalties or licensing of any kind. You deliver it I own it.
