The project starts immediately, and has two deliverables: - A detailed timeline of events regarding the Saint-Petersburg based "troll farm" Internet Research Agency. We are most interested in all events and discoveries pre-2016. - An annotated bibliography of major works published regarding the Internet Research Agency Helpful documents to consult for this project include: investigative journalism pieces published in Ukraine, Russia and in the US, the Mueller indictments, scholarly research focused on the IRA. We are looking for candidates: who have the highest standards of rigor, can present information in clear and well synthesized way, are able to creatively and thoroughly research through academic and investigative material, can thoroughly document their research and sources. This first project has a very fast turnover (first draft by mid next week), but may lead to follow up work at a more comfortable pace. It may be helpful for candidates to be able to read and research in Ukrainian and Russian sources, and to be well versed in the subject of online trolling / information warfare.
