Changing the DNS records is not easy and may take your website, emails down for the mean time while transferring the DNS. This is expected whenever there's changes in the domain records. I've been working with the same platform and very familiar with the settings and so on. To be honest, this can only be done in one day, but i made it 3 days so that the propagation time and turn around time is included as well.
