The objective is to have an app to build up industrial job tasks instructions out of a library of small individual tasks. The app has to have a library of standard small tasks (e.g. screw a bolt, unplug machine from power source, etc). It needs the capability of adding new tasks to the library. Also to be able to attach (or take with the tablet) pictures to those tasks. It also must have a library of material required to perform the tasks. The second part is to have a dynamic interface, which enables the user to build the task rapidly using the items of the library. If a certain task is not in the standard library, the user should be able to add it quickly. The result should be a printable (or emailable) report of the task indicating the list of tasks required (Gantt chart type of display); and a summary of the resources of the job (operator time required and total cost of materials). Once the job is built, the app should have a “play mode” which guides step-by-step what the operator has to do. Like freelitics-kind of fitness app, It should also record the time that each steps and record them associating the times with the tasks. For the moment, I only need a “showcase” version that can hold couple of hundreds of tasks in the internal memory of the device.
