Videographer/Editor/Director/Screenwriter Hello, We are a popular family-friendly entertainment media outlet and Web series aimed towards children ages 3-10. As an up-and-coming start-up with a growing audience, we are seeking to hire a student videographer/ editor/ screenwriter for 1-3 minute comedic, educational skits for kids. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills: - Fast turnaround - Professional video for YouTube look and aesthetics - Attention to detail - Excellent sense in pace and timing - Strong Familiarity with special effects, music and animation -Familiar with how to use a green screen -Ability to create production schedules -Storyboarding -Create cue cards - Takes pride in work -Easy to work with -Help organizing props for each skit -Great directing skills -Has great comedic timing -Great comedy writing skills -Able to generate many creative ideas for skits -Able to edit written skits -Able to transcribe skits from YouTube to final draft -Passionate about film Have a great artistic eye -Proficient in Final Cut Pro and other professional video editors Experience in comedic entertainment, production is a plus. Must have access to a good quality digital camera. Must be located in New York City area as the job is in Manhattan.
