Need this to be implemented in short period of time, possibly from existing template. Any technology can be used for the implementation, eventually the website should be hosted relatively inexpensive. 1. Functional Requirements 1.1 Overview The main purpose of the Web Site is to be able to sell electronic art works online as well as establish online presence of small Graphical Design Company (Design Studio). The main business of the studio is industrial and graphic design. 1.2 Main Sections of the Website 1. Portfolio 2. Online Shop of the electronic arts (Studio Designs) 3. About 4. News from Design World 1.3 Portfolio Section Description This section will be a user view at all previous works of the Studio. Each work displayed will include image and short description. Click on the work image should open a new page with detailed description. All portfolio works should be classified (tagged) by: • Creation Year (2010, 2011, 2012 etc) • Industry or product group (e.g. cosmetics, food, restaurant etc.) • Work design type (e.g. logotype, banner, concept etc.) Works always sorted by Creation Date descending. User should be able to filter portfolio view using these tags. Default filter – All Works. The portfolio view should easy to navigate and read (e.g. paged). 1.4 Online Shop of the Studio Design This section will be online shop where user can purchase online Studio works displayed for sale. Each work displayed will include image (thumbnail), short description and price. Each item should be addable to shopping cart. Click on the item image should open a new page with detailed description. All works displayed for sale should be tagged and filtered by: • Industry or product group (e.g. cosmetics, food, restaurant etc.) • Work design type. The view should easy to navigate and read (e.g. paged). Shop side menu should include description of the shop terms, shipping and such required to sell online. PayPal and All major credit cards have to be accepted as payment method. It needs to be cleared online in order to make the art work downloadable immediately. Art works are stored on the server and downloadable as zip archives associated with their displayed thumbnails and descriptions. 1.5 About This section by default should display information about the design studio (the company info). There should be a side menu with items: • Studio Info (default selected) • Our Services • How We Work • Join Us • Contacts 1.6 News from Design World This section should list news digest with reference (link) to source. Should be easy to add news in the future. Should easy to navigate and read (e.g. paged). 2. UI Design Requirements Site should be multilingual, two languages at the beginning. No special requirements to pages layout and design. I should be clean, simple. The pages layout and design are to be discussed before implementation. Somewhere on the site it should be always visible copyright notice, privacy and terms and conditions. 3. Technical Requirements Should support all modern web browsers, including mobile ones. Portfolio, Online Shop and News contents should be relatively easily updatable.
