WordPress - Persist url parameters across entire site/or session IF present (please read description)

code example attached: I have the follow issue: - when someone comes from a third party source, I want to keep/persist the paramters from that through there entire experience - so from page to page/post etc, the paramters need to be in the URL or stored in the session some how Example: You visit [login to view URL], then every page or post etc from that point on would have "?from_app" appened to it. I have a basic example with a redirect but it doesn't work in an if statement.
