We are looking for a way to insert automatically updating numerical references to annexures/appendices within a document. We work on documents where appendices are constantly updated and inserted at different positions. To avoid keeping track of these changes manually, we are seeking a method that would update numbering automatically. The nature of the documents we work with mean that the method of inserting the references must be easy to use (i.e. consistent in font, colour and insertion without changing the document format). We are looking to pay $60 for a written direction on how to perform this task, as well as a Skype call to go through the process and check that it works effectively for us.

I will give a written instruction to automatic number your appendices / tables / figures. When you insert a new appendix / table / figure it will automatically take a new number appropriate to its position. e.g. if you are entering a new table in between table 4 and 5, it will automatically number the new table as 5 and all subsequent tables will be incremented by one. Similarly it will happy to all your automatically numbered items. I already have a document containing this feature which I can share with you. My skype ID is meeshusoft.
