Hello, I'm an electronic engineering undergraduate an I have good experince in electronics and micro controller programming. I have used atmel, PIC and arduino to builed control systems. I have good electronics knowledge too. So as I understand the your problem description I feel comfortable doing this project. I can design circuit that can handle this task and simple microcontroller program to handle the task. Hi! I'm Pranav, from India. I had bid on the other project as well, with a longish proposal, saying how well I am suitable for this project. Here I will cut all that and jump to all that I have found out since the last proposal. A three legged PIR sensor, paired with a BISS0001 IC will give you a timed response based on the motion. This is by far the best method to use for motion detection, and get a timed response as it is cheap and simple, and trustfully works in a million applications. The output from this IC can be fed to one relay, controlling the HIGH brightness bulb, and to a NE555 IC, timed to trigger for 1 minute. So once motion is detected, the BISS IC sends a high pulse to the NE555 and the HIGH bulb relay. Once it goes off, the HIGH bulb turns off, but the one connected to NE555 output stays on for a duration of 1 minute. Sounds simple, and is simple, also cheap and reliable. I had mentioned PWMing and non-mechanical switches, but that will increase the costs a bit. It depends on how much you want to spend. I recently have the same project. I use my project in my garage. When the sensor senses motion it will turn on the light. After 2 minutes without motion detected the light will turn off. I can modify my schematic to meet your project requirements.

Hello, Brother I had did this project before... I can easily send to working schematic proteus...etc.... Its not too much difficult task... only you need to controll PIR motion sensor signal with Relay... like H-Bridge... or if you wanna use Microcontroller like PIC... then you can add more function on it....
