Create New Terrain Variations (3DS Max / .X Format)

Attached to this bid is a collection of 3D terrain tiles. These tiles are created in 3DS Max as a grid of 32x32 vertices. The overall size of each tile is 128x128 units. We have a proprietary game engine product which visualizes these tiles to create random worlds. This task involves the creation of new terrain tiles. Currently, the following terrain variations exist: depresion, flat, hilll, river, step, and wall (mountain). We are looking for three new depression tiles, three new flat tiles, and three new hill tiles. In addition, we would like to see three new tiles which are a floating island (which players may build upon). Please refer to the enclosed zip file to better understand the naming convention for these terrain tiles. Each terrain tile must blend with its neighbor. For example, terrain_flat_01.x has edges which line up with terrain_depression_01.x. Hence, each tile has the same Y value for a given XZ value along the tile's perimeter. In addition to seamless tiling, the successul work deliverable will have correct calculation of normals and UV texturing coordinates. Please refer to the enclosed .X meshes for an example of how this works. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform 3DS Max 9 Okino Polytans or similar 3DS to .X converter
