Data mining from a deep web app

Would like to mine data from a web based app. Would include reading a ranking list from within the app (static URL), and mining details from subsequent links. Language used is unimportant. GUI preferred, but a script with input options is also acceptable. Input parameters to be discussed, mainly surrounding levels. Clean code with comments is expected. It is recommended to have a Facebook acct to test your code before delivery.
