Require an Android app that can receive an RTMP live video stream (360 degree stream) and be able to display it on the phone with the ability to swipe and view in 360. The reason for RTMP is to reduce the delay (as testing have shown that using html5 adds about a 15 second delay in the setup). Other suggestions will also be considered. We have a working application (see attached code snippet) but the delay is about 15 seconds due to the codec used only supporting http. Using Flowplayer codec (via website), we are able to get this stream with a 1 second delay (see attached html code). Not sure how we can get a similar codec that can be used in the android app that supports RTMP and be able to render 360 stream. The reason for having an app is to also implement other functions (pattern recognition) but just need the above requirements met. I can provide video stream receive endpoints (using WOWZA on Azure).
