1) Vendor Requirements • Creative, dynamic, fluid with solid experience in web development • Portfolio of stable, running websites • Capabilities in database/ booking engines • Familiarity with utilization of free online affiliate content/tools (eg. free email, forums, polls, maps, news, blogs) to enhance website • Affordable low competitive cost • Long term commitment partnership Fast, fluid, dynamic maintenance/ updates to make website refreshing and attractive to users Search ranking optimization & traffic maximization 2) Specifications 2.1 Timeframe for completion As soon as possible- 4weeks by end March 2006. Affiliate application submitted already and site will be up first in 1st week Mar2006 using ready to use template of [login to view URL] 2.2 Objective • Build creative, dynamic website complete with online content tools to supplement ready affiliate GDS/ booking engine [login to view URL] 2.3 Features • Free Membership online registration Regular customers can register for account and key in their profiles. Their booking history will be kept in this account. Each time they come back to book, they just have to log into their account and their standard info will appear and they need not rekey. Strong encryption/ security system. • Loyalty/ Reward Points Program Loyalty points based on value of bookings will be added to members accounts and can be redeemed subsequently. • User community content ü networking tools (eg. forum, chat, polls, blogs) eg. group trips arrangement- Members with same destination interested can organize group trips with other members interested. ü User tools Product Catalog, newsletter, free email, articles/ columns ü travelogues/ blogs, travel articles/news/ travel alerts • Affiliate program Websites can sign up as affiliates online and get paid commission. They need only copy and paste code into their website. • Paid Advertising- eg. banner advertising, exchange links, “links to us” • Enhanced travel content using free online content affiliates ü Addition of free travel content not covered under World Choice Travel destination guide ü Addition of new content like Food, Entertainment/Nightspots, Shopping, Language 101, sightseeing tours for each city.
