Build WIMLIB Compression Plug-In for ZIPmagic -- 2

ZIPmagic is a plug-in extensible archiver. You will be writing a new plug-in based on the open source WIMLIB data compression technology as available at [login to view URL] including source code. Your plug-in must support all of the compression algorithms and settings available in WIMLIB, as well as providing a GUI which exposes access to all of these compression algorithms and settings that are found in WIMLIB. Some examples and detailed plug-in authoring specifications are discussed at [login to view URL] Look at the CHM help file [login to view URL] located at the root of the repository. If you are unable to open the CHM file due to security settings, I have attached a ZIP file containing the same HTML Help based documentation to this post. Discarding the deprecated functions, below is the minimum list of plug-in DLL exports that are required: GetArchiveSizeEx GetArchiveInfoEx GetArchiveErrorEx ShowPlugInAbout CodexStandardFunction Just continue browsing on to each function description, as everything is fully documented. As you build your plug-in, you will need to test it with a copy of ZIPmagic software. I will be available to help you with any questions you may have during the plug-in development, registration, and testing process. In addition to implementing compression and extraction functionality in your plug-in, you will also need to implement auxiliary functions in your plug-in, such as testing archives, deleting files from archives, editing archive comments, etc. - to the extent that they are already available in WIMLIB. This functionality will be built according to the specifications in the attached [login to view URL] file, which describes how plug-ins must implement both the basic (de)compression functionality, as well as any additional optional features, such as testing archives, deleting files from archives, etc. Please note that ZIPmagic plug-ins expose their own GUI, for both displaying (de)compression progress, and also for displaying (de)compression settings. The functions which will provide access to these GUIs inside your plug-in are all documented in the attachment. You will need to build GUIs comparable to the 7-Zip Wide Archives plug-in that ships with ZIPmagic; for both displaying (de)compression progress and (de)compression settings. Please also note that any auxiliary functions, such as deleting files inside WIM archives, testing WIM archives, etc. will also similarly need to expose their own GUI for displaying their own native progress. Please do review the documentation, review ZIPmagic and its plug-ins, before making a bid. Spam bids will be reported to management. All of your work will be published at the ZIPmagic open source repository at GitHub, and will be available for others to improve upon, past the point of delivery. Your code must run on all Windows versions, both 32 bit and 64 bit, starting with Windows XP. You should deliver 32 bit code, which disables 64 bit file system redirection when it detects it is running on 64 bit Windows, to ensure that your code runs on both 32 bit and 64 bit operating systems from the same 32 bit compiled binaries. Delphi and Visual C++ developers are preferred.
