Social Broadcaster uses the Linkedin Group message feature on Linkedin.
This is accessible by selecting Your Groups > One of the available groups >
Members > then send message when that group members profile is highlighted.
The software should log into the users Linkedin Account and select the group(s)
to be Broadcasts to. The user would have a selection feature to check box the
Group(s) they intend to market to.
There is a Search Function on the upper left of each group. This can be used to input
keywords into in order to pull up the members to target.
The Interface would have a place to enter a Keyword. Using a keyword would be optional. Only 500 members will pull up in a group at one time, so keyword targeting
is highly preferred.
A space for a Subject line and message body must be set as "Message to send"
A personalization capability should be enabled using a Macro. i.e. %%FNAME%%
for the firstname, etc. This should be available for both Subject line and message body.
The idea here is to emulate a human by using a random pause between sends.
I suggest 20 to 40 seconds.
A further way to randomize would be to log into the first group, send a message, then log into the next group, pause, then send next message, etc.
We may need to put a message "cap" on the system depending on how Linkedin reacts to the process.
An advanced version should be able to log into multiple accounts.
Additionally, an advanced feature would keep a database of who had been sent to
so it would know where to start from after leaving off.
