According to the game's rules which are, as you said similar to rummi / Okey we can create a base script for the AI and after that, every time it's the AI's turn, it will calculate all the available options it has and depending on the difficulty he will pick the best one for the situation. I previously developed a reversi engine for AI course I took in my masters. There, I worked on multiple strategies mainly based on minimax with alpha beta pruning, and hardcoded strategies for evaluating the board status. It is quite similar in rummi case, but rummi is probabilistic. (I also have experience with Unity and C#).

Hello, I can build the AI for your game in C/C++ with the three levels of difficulties that you would like to have. I my style of programming and coding is performance based, I always optimize my code run as fast as possible. I've gone ahead and checked Rummi/Okay but I would like to know what the twists are so that when I begin on the code I will be able to add them in. I'm estimating that it will take at most two weeks to develop the AI based on the timetable below.
