We are looking for an experienced .Net MVC 5 developer that can develop part of the code needed for our tracking solution. We have a product in development and we need help with the integration between the GPS device data and our application. There are a lot of work to be done and the professional hired for this project will continue to work with us in other phases of this project. We will provide access to our hosting environment. The developer will focus uniquely on the development of the code everything else is on us. For now we need TCP/IP port listener, which collect the data from GPS tracking devices and store it in MS SQL database. It must accept multiple connections at the same time (asynchronous). [login to view URL] sever (communication) software will listen on TCP/IP ports, collect the data from tracking devices and store it on the MS SQL database. It must accept multiple connections at the same time (Async). 2. The protocol is attached in this post. The person have to process the GPS String by splitting it ,then store it into database tables, like current speed, current location and Temp. 3. Person should provide the source code also for the Tcp Listener and small doc for explain application. Make sure this listener is be able to process multiple protocol also . Thanks for your help. Hi, I am a 20+ years old software engineer experience. For the last 15 years I have worked almost all the time at home, having enough experience to succesfully finish this project. As my work always was done in a very professional way, references can be sent in Portugal, Brazil, USA, UK and Australia. Some months ago I have developed exactly this with one more feature: a WCF connection to enable users to change configuration and check reception status. Checking your GPS protocol, I realize it is not so simple, and will give several hours to be understood. I can garantee you will have your software with source code using Visual Studio 2013 and c#. It includes a windows service WCF enabled, a windows app to connect using this WCF line and show data being received or change configuration and a windos app to install/remove the service, with full source code at the end. Hi, I will write a Listener Windows Application in Visual Studio 2010 - C# that will listen to device and as per communication protocol provided here will parse the data and store in SQL Server database. So that you have maximum performance, I will have two application : 1. Listen Data from device and write it to ascii file. 2. Read from ascii file and write to db. As I have written multiple listener applications it is always advisable to have these separate. I have written listener for multiple Tracking devices and has good experience in it. Hi As you can see in my resume I used to work on robot communications in a virtual environment which was exactly a fail safe multi layer asynchronous connection by .NET C# Socket programming. I have also implemented a Peer2Peer data transferring system called PeeCon, again reference to my resume based on .NET socket programming. I will need less than 3 days for this project but just in case, you know, to make sure that I will stick to the deadline. Also I should say that you will need a windows application/service for this task and it is not possible to make a socket connection to an application hosted in IIS if the connection contains a stream of unstructured data. Anyways

I have a similar personal project that does basically the same thing as posted on your project description. I have an Arduino with a GPS/GPRS shield that will send the GPS data through TCP/IP to a server and update a SQL database. I'll just need a few days to set everything up the way you want. I'm not as experienced as other users here, I'm new here but really into coding and have lots of free time to finish your project.
