Stormwater Plan Review & Stamp and successful acceptance by City of San Jose

I am in need of a CA Civil Engineer who can review, make minor modifications and clarifications to the response if needed, and ultimately provide their professional stamp on my already finalized stormwater management plans and take us through City approval of the plans. The city is eager to work with us to complete this project. So we do not anticipate any roadblocks (except for the glacial speed of the average government worker). The original CA Civil engineer got us accepted and passed but has since moved to a corporate role and cannot respond to the city's very late comments which came years after the plan was already accepted by them. Key responsibilities include: - Reviewing the stormwater drainage management plans that are ready for review. - Updating the comments and indicating minor modifications to the plan (if necessary). We can do the autocad changes ourselves as long as the explanations are clear (hand drawn with a picture on the plan) - Providing a professional CA stamp of approval. - Fixing any objections the city may respond with and resubmit. The AutoCAD DWG files: Updated DWG source files The ideal professional would be a licensed CA-based civil engineer who has extensive experience with stormwater management plans. You should be able to recognize potential issues in the existing plans and suggest modifications if needed, ensuring they comply with local regulations before stamping them. The ability to complete this project quickly and efficiently is pivotal. The payment of this project will be made on a successful acceptance and approval by the city of the plans. Partial payment will not be possible as we need plans to be accepted by the city and anything short of that will not be useful to us. These plans were already approved by the city once. They just recently came back with the comments despite having already approved it, which have all been fixed. So we do not expect any problems. But they may have a few comments here and there that we will fix with your instructions. Please answer these questions in your proposal or we will not be able to consider it. 1. Are you or do you work with a CA Qualified Civil Engineer with a stamp? 2. Have you reviewed the plans and do you understand the requirements? 3. Do you confirm the since we already have all the work done, and we want you to review the plans ahead of time, do you understand that the only delivery and payment milestone is successful acceptance and approval by the city of the plans? These plans were already approved by the city once. They just recently came back with the minor comments shown, which HAVE ALEADY been fixed. So we do not expect any problems. But they may have a few minor comments here and there. All payments will be in escrow with Freelancer so you can be assured that you will receive payment once you see the acceptance from the city. You will also be in direct contact with the city the entire time so you will know the status and be able to show it to Freelancer as proof of delivery. Freelancer will pay when the milestone is met. This is a non-negotiable. The extent of your work is to review, not any corrections we need to make and stamp and provide that stamped copy to the city. 4. Due to the speed of the project, will you commit to responding to any questions etc within 4-12 hours. 5. Please confirm that before we award the contract we will need to schedule a video conference call with whomever the holder of the CA Stamp and License is to verify their identity (State or Federal ID). Note: Except for verification of your credentials, do not contact us outside this platform. Do not ask for payment except on Freelancer. We will not engage except on Freelancer (besides the conference call for verification). We've seen this happen a few times, so please do not quote a number and then ask us what our budget is, your quote is the budget if we accept it. If you want a higher budget then quote a higher number and we will consider it.
