I need script with crawlers for two websites. Crawlers should be created in Python 2.7 so I can implement them in existing script with additional crawlers and data validation. Each crawler should scrape just one section(one page) of a site and gather 7 data info ( date, time, name etc) After scraping python script should compare data from two site`s and export results into Excel xlsx file

I have a computer engineering degree from CMU and I've written a lot of scrapers. Most of them were PHP, although I've written a lot of Python for other reasons and I do have a Python template to go by. One thing -- putting the data into xlsx format might be a problem -- could I just put them in csv format and you could load them into excel that way?
