I am interested in your project but I have not edited a comic book before, so if you could provide a copy of the last issue and indicate whether there is a style guide for the publication, that would be helpful. I registered with Freelancer in February last year and have 118 reviews, all positive. English is my first language and my skills include technical writing, editing, proofreading, and transcribing. In February this year I took on a role as the copy editor for The International Journal of Wellbeing, an online journal, a position to which I was invited by a Freelancer client. One of my earlier projects with Freelancer was to edit a 65,000-word science fiction novel, and the client was so pleased with my work that he commended me to Freelancer, and an article about me was published by Freelancer. For two years I was a copy editor for Elsevier Science Publishers in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, rewriting text by authors who were not native English speakers. I have worked with individual clients to bring more than 20 books to publication and five of these clients have rehired me to work on further books. Having been a teacher of English in high school for four years, I have spent many hours making corrections and suggestions for students' essays. For an additional two years I was a teacher of English as a second language. For six years I have been a member of a a writing critique group, regularly reviewing the stories submitted and occasionally writing my own.
