Looking to connect Android ADK to Android Nexus 7 tablet with 80 meter cable, possibly a Cat5e cable or reliable wireless solution like xbee. Cable to run in electrically noisy environments such as: fluorescent lighting, computers, radio equipment, etc. Scope: - Based on experience with the device, recommend a reliable off the shelf solution. Device budget $50, and must be easy to plug and play for easy implementation in mass installation scenario. -OR- - If solution is not available off the shelf, provide a discussion for a plan on how to prepare a reliable custom solution.

hi arduino usb port is nothing but a converter usb to serial (rs232) you can use arduino board with serial port instead of usb and connect it to your tablet using serial cable (up to 100m long) you can use usb to serial adapter at tablet side and long 9 wire cable to arduino
