Hi, This is an interesting project indeed!. I can do this easily and in the same dimension as specified for the existing system. It will have micro controller from Microchip and can work in HID protocol too. HID protocol will have benefit because at PC side you wont need any driver. Just plug and play type and Windows will detect the board automatically. It will be powered from USB itself. I will supply you the PCB design CAD file in EAGLE, BOM, Firmware for the board and a windows desktop sample application to drive the board various I/O. I have 17+ years of experience in C programming and over 25 years of experience in electronics. I did my engineering in electronics and telecommunications. Hi, I have a long experience in hardware and software based product development. I have a good experience with anlog design, signal conditioning and microcontroller based designs. I am bidding this project based on that. I have a couple if questions regarding the project. Can you kindly clarify them 1. You have given link to a PhidgetAnalog board. That has 4 analog outputs, but in your proposed board there is only one. Please correct me if wrong... 2. Is the purpose of TTL input signals to just report the status to GUI if there is a change? 3. Is the purpose of TTL output signals to be driven is changed by GUI? 4. In the PhidgetAnalog board there is no mention of Laser. Can you clarify little more? Sorry for so many questions, but I feel a better understanding of the project will help in smooth execution if awarded.. Thank you. Vinod

I can help you with this. I have existing circuits and drivers that I can I adapt for your needs. I have only one question at this point that causes me some concern: From your spec, section 8d, the USB frame rate is 1ms so achieving "significantly less than 1ms" may not be possible. However, I'm not exactly sure what is meant by "Time delay between channels".. what is "channels" referring to? .. relating to the time delay between them?
