I work for an insurance company and review third party claims for the cost of repairs; hire cars; and various other damages. We base our initial offers on expert reports or historical rates for hire, then negotiate with the other party until we reach an outcome. In my experience, the most important factor is the person (or company) I'm negotiating with. The project would involve: 1. Cleaning data from large amounts of semi-organised email correspondence; PDFs; and reports; 2. Using this information build a database of our negotiation with different companies, including offers, counter-offers, final outcome, etc; 3. Training a bot on the dataset to make optimal offers and counter-offers based on a range of given criteria (e.g. who the other party is; their historical patterns in previous/similar matters; the other party's most recent offer; etc etc). Is this feasible? What information would you need before you could quote the amount of time/data required to do this? I have a flexible budget, and no specific timeframe - looking forward to hearing from you.
