Hi there, I'm an experienced market researcher just finishing a research job now so I am available to start at once on a new project. I'll share my process as you asked, as part of my note. For esoteric research, I find that the longest parts are in the beginning, learning the end goal of the research and beginning to source information, After preliminaries online, I also check with list services to see if they already provide helpful data. After that there are government websites, which probably have an equivalent in China, but more likely will be a set of data sites found from articles where people are quoted or groups are referred to such as small business groups that we have in the US. There's also a way of looking at each large city individually although you may want to focus just on the already-known large cities. For the 2nd project, I'd start querying forums and go from there. Entrepreneurs and start up owners are relatively helpful from my experience and would probably offer the best direction. I am relatively new to this site but I can send a resume if you'd like and refer you to Upwork where I just finished a small research project. This is a little difficult to estimate time wise because I believe much of it will rely on contacts who may take time to return information. It's easier to estimate after the project is discussed.
