Replace sewer line

1. Excavation of trench along entire line from cleanout at rear restrooms to the driveway line. Trench shall be 20” wide and to the depth of the existing sewer line. (assuming 4” line) All tree roots shall be cut Base of trench: Soil Separator 36 in. x 150 ft. Trench Wrap Sides of trench – root barrier 6” bedding made of 3/8” granular rock per ASTM D2321 Backfill shall be compacted: First layer of compacted backfill only till the midpoint of the piping. The backfill should be shoveled under the pipe, taking care to fill voids, and compacted. Additionally, 3 compacted layers of 6 inches on top of the first layer. Then final layer of backfill. 2. Replaces existing sewer line - approx. 100’ 4” diameter (verify with existing!) The minimum slope of sewer service laterals is 2% or l/4 inch per foot for 4-inch laterals and 1% or 1/8 inch per foot for 6-inch laterals
