One of our clients has a Magento webshop. They are specialized in selling products for everyone who wants to build stages for the event business. Think of work clothes, safety shoes, torches and pocket knifes for workers who have to build a stage for a music event. To increase their sales they are interested in an iPad app for their account managers who visit customers on location. These account managers should be able to enter orders on the iPad app. Assume there will always be a wifi connection. The orders need to be displayed in Magento backend so a connection between Magento and the webshop must be established What are the costs for creating such iPad app and what is your approach? We will create a login for managers so that they can access the online Magento database. as they also would have an interface in iPad app to enter the order and that is then sent to the live Magento Database on the fly using the Wifi internet.
