My company is running a website which allows users to upload images. We require a Java script which re sizes images from 2-4 MB down to 0.2 MB before the images are uploaded onto our server. Thus allowing users to upload multiple files quickly. Facebook have an excellent example of this.

All you need is a image compressor program which compress the image bytes.i have done a similar one in one of my earlier projects where i wrote a recursive compressor.
