In terms of implementation, you will only need the resources required to: deploy a few lines of javascript globally across the site(s) you wish to measure. This process is even easier if you have a tag manager - but it's not required. After that, all work needed to setup Stay N Touch (funnels, protecting PII, etc) is done remotely within the QM UI - so no resources or lift needed on your end to set up our "tagging" (besides the fact that we have a whole bunch of stuff - like every click, page hit, and rage click - automatically captured - let me know if it would be helpful to see that exhaustive list). With regards to other steps after the tag deployment - the phase we call: implementation/configuration - this is where our Customer Success team will take a lot of the lift for you, because a) it's done entirely in our UI & requires no resources from your end; and b) it's included :) I know you mentioned wanting your team to take on much of the work here, and our CS team is happy to train your team in all aspects to allow them to be entirely self-service... but usually the initial implementation is handled by our teams, for a few reasons: What takes us (QM) only a few minutes, might take your teams a bit longer (because they still need to learn how to do it first) - so time to value is much quicker if you let our teams help :) While we do have best practices/recommendations we can share for things to get your team started, every implementation is a bit unique because we align to YOUR business goals - which means we also train your teams to support those business goals. This is the difference between us just teaching your teams to create their own 'events/tags' - and fully understanding the initiative behind it so we can also train towards uncovering the insights to support the initiative. This also means I can't give you a great estimate on up time/lift... While I can't promise that our CS team could give you a solid answer in one quick meeting either, they are the best to tackle this question. If you can give us a chance to gather the right resources, we can absolutely set up a meeting with your engineers (you'll need fewer than you think) and our CS leaders to help outline more detailed requirements timelines.
