Steps to developing a brand strategy:
1. Understand the market landscape, including but not limited to market size, market value, competitors, environmental trends, segment demographics.
2. Business and product audit to reaffirm and develop its unique value proposition via market research, focus groups, etc. Identify how the brand/products can be positioned to appeal to different or a particular market.
3. Develop a go-to-market strategy which generates the highest value in return, i.e. targeting a specific market segment and niche product offerings. This will ultimately inform a consistent, accurate writing style guide, channel to market, product development as well as tailored customer support at the back-end.
