The Indian Snakes app is already up and running in the App Store for iPhone: [login to view URL] We do have an Android app up and running in Google Play store too, but it has lots of features which are missing also many fixes which are due and could not be completed as the developer is now not accessible: [login to view URL] A detailed requirement document will be sent to the Freelancer when the project is awarded, but below is the highlights of the requirement of the Field Guide application: 1. Offline capabilities - The field guide should be able to pull all information from the webservices and store it offline so that it can be used deep in forests or places with no internet connectivity! 2. Filters - Loads of filters like Location filter (Based on KML file by finding out point-in-polygon), toxicity, data fields available, by regions, by categories etc. 3. Capability of integrating C++ source code into Android with good efficiency - Need C++ code integration because we have lots of code which is built for iOS in C++ so that it can be reused in Android - Like the KML point-in-polygon sources, HTML file generation for the Aggregated view and the Detail view etc. We highly recommender users to download and check out the IndianSnakes iOS app before bidding for this project. A thorough understanding of the features and what the app has to offer is recommended. Developer can opt to build on the same Android source code which we already have or to chose building from scratch. A very good design at architectural level and also very good documentation of the project is expected. We also look forward for further support (by extra payment of course) by the developer for new versions which may come in future.
