Hi, I have a crop dialog which allows the user to crop an image to a predefined aspect ratio by moving and zooming. See attached images. The user can move and pinch the image to position it. Then the user taps "Done" and it gets cropped to a certain fixed aspect ratio. It could be the screen size, or it could be square. (This ratio is selected by the code presenting the dialog.) I will provide this code for you. I want to change this to allow an arbitrary crop rectangle. At the bottom toolbar, I want a "Manual" button in the middle. When pressed, the behavior of the dialog changes. The image zooms out so it is all visible (using a smooth animation) and a crop rectangle appears. The crop rectangle should look/act like it does in the iOS 8 photos app. The default aspect ratio should be the same as it was. The part of the image not in the crop rectangle should be darker. The user can tap and drag the edges of the rectangle to adjust its size. The user can also zoom/move the image around manually. If "Manual" is not pressed, the dialog should behave as before (except that the area of the image outside the crop area should be darker, not black). When "Choose" is pressed, you don't need to actually do the cropping. You just need to calculate the crop rectangle. This needs to work on iOS 7 and 8 and should support autorotation. You can't just open a new dialog when the user presses "Manual". Everything happens in one dialog.

have a couple of questions: 1. can't find any attached images here? Though, requirements are very clear 2. so "Choose" should simply return to currenty existing dialog mode except for it will have a custom crop area 3. should it remember the customary setup crop area for further usage? 4. is auto-rotation currently supported in that dialog? Or you mean that "Manual" mode has to support it as well?
