Web/ Mobile geolocation app /routing-oriented tour on the google maps etc with text and voice messages / travel guide

1. Development OS / Platforms: cross-browser, cross-platform for PC, phones & tablets (Windows mobile, Android, iOS etc), on/off line functionality, web page communicating with apps including admin panel, payment processor/gateway (e-shop). 2. Development period: 2 months. 3. Budget: The best offer based on the technical and financial data Rating / Assignment: Similar operative and demonstrative projects, portfolio, geolocation / routing / google maps-directions API expertise. 4. Deployment: Byer’s server. 5. Payments: 3-4 payments considering project’s progress/deliverables/approval. Summary: The application should provide tour/travel guiding services (geolocation, routing) to tourists for sightseeing over Google Maps (Satellite / Street view) or alternatives (Bing Maps / OSM) basemaps, through mobile device GPS tracking. Provided services: 1. When user is on the go (usually with car) should be able to define Starting Point / Waypoints - Destination, and to: - Present the shortest / optimal path (Google Maps, Google Directions API), - To locate and display along and around the route (within a range of 5-10 Km) a table showing sights by category (10-15 categories) (polygonal / point spatial information) - Select from sights/attractions categories list and based on this selection: - To drive him on the way to intermediate destinations (waypoints) before the final destination. - Display written information on the screen, eg a) the remaining distance to each stopover, b) information on the sights/attractions to be visited and - Voice messages, such as the name, category, and a brief description of the sight. 2. Alternatively, the app should identify user's location (Geolocation), and based on that position, the user should be able to define a distance eg a radius of 1 to 50 km, to provide the above mentioned functionality. as also Preparing travel - Simulation routes The above functionality, with adjustments, should be offered also in desktop version, so user should have the ability to prepare his trip from home, simulating the wanted route, save it to his account and load it in his mobile device, and make use during his trip. In this additional functionality the desktop version should provide to users: - Summarized data for each route (distance - duration) - Store the path (x / y) - Pin points of interest with comments and/or images and upload / share them on social networks (Google Maps / Panoramio / other social media). Any additional ideas and well documented proposals from developers will be considered in the final evaluation and project award.
