Sharepoint 2013 Remote Blob Store provider using existing client library The aim it to develop a Sharepoint 2013 Remote Blob Store provider which enables storing documents from Sharepoint 2013 into an archiving system, as well as retrieval of documents using Sharepoint 2013 interface. The archiving system provides .NET/C# library which supports both steam and file interface. References to BLOBs can be stored directly in the archiving system. The code from Codeplex is to be used as a starting point (in ideal case we talk just about replacing FS (and DB?) access code by calls to the client library of the archiving system); notice the required change to the sample code described on Codeplex project page. For this job Sharepoint 2013 installation is required. This COM-based API is not available in Sharepoint 2013 and isn’t relevant for this project.
