The server will send data stream to the port which will be saved in a scalar 2. The perl program will then send the data in the scalar to a aol aim user

Hi dberrios200 -- I have read through your proposed project and believe I can get this done quickly and professionally for you. I will write a multi-threaded Perl program which will connect to a server and read in messages which will then be passed to an AOL client thread and sent to a specified user. I have worked with Perl for many years both as a hobby and professionally. I should be able to get this wrapped up this weekend for you.
