Illustrations required for my client's brand ethos document

We require a set of illustrations to uplift the content of an A5, 8-page brochure: 1) 1 x Illustration for cover 2) 3 x smaller illustrations 3) 1 x illustrated diagram (not an infographic) The brand is an educational organisation that runs 7 schools, mostly in London. They are refreshing their educational philosophy and therefore require an updated brochure to distribute to students, parents, teachers and government. The original document used an infographic approach which felt technical and unsympathetic to the aims of the text. Instead, we are proposing warm friendly innocent styled illustrations. The illustrations will help to translate some of the central ideas and concepts in the text. The illustrator will be expected to read and appreciate the meaning of the text, and propose how they will interpret the main theme that is discussed on that page. We therefore require a conceptual illustrator that is experienced in delivering an intelligent and thoughtful solution to a brief. The style we require is simple, accessible to children but not overly childlike, and must contribute a positive, friendly, personal, innocent charm to the project.
