Article Management SyStem

The software is basically an Article Management program to help standardize and simplify the handling of articles, blog post and reports from writers for use on our websites. The workflow is as follows: Writers are assigned a login and password. Once logged in they will move to a screen listing them all the "topics" for them to write on. Writers are prepared content "shells" which include a base file in text format along with keywords to write and include in articles. Once they are finished and the article has been entered into the system, they can check the content for plagiarism with copyscape. After an article has been submitted by a writer an editor will review it. Editors will login and see a list of items assigned to them to review. Once an Editor has completed the task each article is passed on to a submitter. Submitters will login and see a list of the articles assigned to them and process each record and update it's status. Finally and over all administrator can look at all records and query the list to review the work and make edits if needed at a record level. Data is exported, updated offline and imported back into the system. The program should be written in PHP using a mySQL database The system is simple and does not require a lot of SQL table joins and relationship building. It basically consists of a user file for login and one large file which will contain all the data. The users will see different “screens?? based on their job level (writer, editor, submitter or administrator). This is Version 1.0 and will be enhanced with additional functions once online and tested. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
