Band Profile and article posting PHP/MYSQL(repost)

Hi, so I’m guessing [login to view URL] is something you have heard of by now right? well I’m looking for a way to have a database of bands and band information. When I say bands, I also mean artists (solo singers etc). Something where they can type up a description of themselves and add some photos etc. I’m also toying with the idea of allowing people to add comments about that bands where both admin and the band themselves can edit comments. Maybe allow them to display upcoming gig information on their own profile AND on the site itself in a big list of gigs around the UK/globe. 1. listings where viewers can add studios, venues, music shops which are all seperate categories that the admin can add delete and edit. 2. A sort of posting board where bands can swap gigs. Like if joe bloggs is playing in London, but needs support acts (additional bands to play) he can post on the site. 3. A sort of article posting thing where categories can be made, and how to’s can be written. The article would be 3 boxes. A subject line and 2 boxes for content (the second being optional). The idea is that members of the site would need to pay to see full articles. if they don’t they only see the beginning of it. A quick summary of the band profile features: 1. Music Genre 2. Band/Artist Description 3. Band Members 4. Contact Details 5. Photos Limited to 5 per band 6. Link to website(s) ie their own site and 4 friends sites Limited to 5 per band 7. Contact details with form to email (hidden email address) In name, address, phone number, mobile and AIM, MSN, Yahoo, ICQ handles 8. Bands gig list 9. Band news 10. Comment system so public can leave comments (band can set to auto approve or manual approve) 11. A ‘Rate This Band’ system to allow you to rate a band. This will be used to show top bands ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
