My friends and i play Diablo 2 online which is hosted by diablo's Battlenet servers.. I will just explain briefly wat we need, & if u are interested or curious and need more info, please reply & i will provide more detail & help.
The game is a strategy game which consists of picking a character & building him/her up using special weapons, rings, armour etc..
What we need done is a program/script/special internet packet method, to "duplicate" an item/weapon(s) , to have multiples of the 1 item/weapon(s). Depending on method u discover/create, it could mean duplicating 1 at a time to several at a time.
This has been done many times before, but those methods currently do not work as they have been patched. Can also provide some "tools" that may help considerably, as these tools were used in previous methods, including a packet sniffer to check out incoming/outgoing packets sent and block etc if needed. Some previous methods involved needed more than 1 character to perform the duplicate. U can ofcourse try to "duplicate" on single player first (no internet), then if sucessful it can be tested multi player online (internet) to see if it still works online, and if not then looking into whats stopping it.
I can provide some old methods if u are interested/curious about this mini project.
Im just explaining briefly for now to get an idea of whose interested. Please dont hesitate to reply for queries.
Thank You
Ash
