[login to view URL] currently hosts streams for clan movies.
We are looking to expand our service to offer a ‘custom’ movie making service for individuals. Customers would be able to book one of our designers to create a movie.
The user (‘customer’) will have a chance to browse through the designers’ personal portfolio (1 page per designer) and then select the designer of their preference to work
with on the project. The user will then be directed to an online ordering form. Here a customer can select the length of the movie.
1 minute = £40, 2 minutes = £80 ,3 minutes = 130 etcetc
More tick boxes -Effects
Little effects = +£0 ,Medium effects = +£10, Lots of effects = £20
A customer can then add additional notes (contact form) to the designer. Once the money is calculated and displayed the customer will be taken to a terms of conditions box. Once accepted they are then linked to Google checkout as demonstrated here.<[login to view URL]>
There also needs to be an option set by a site administrators (can be done on ftp). That makes it clear that a designer is
‘not accepting projects’ (if this is the case, when are they likely to be accepting projects (date)))
‘accepting all projects’
‘accepting projects < X minutes’
Content
Home- Will contain a brief introduction to the service. Must advertise ‘latest work’ as sub content.
Designers- A brief page offering a thumbnail advertising each designer.
Portfolio A simple portfolio page (per designer) introducing the designer, outlining his/her specialities and favoured practices. Will have links to (or
embedded in page) our streaming player playing previous work for
presentational purposes.
Process - A page to outline how the system will work. Our methodology, how the customer will be protected and how deadlines / quality checking will work.
## Deliverables
Ideally we would like to keep it user friendly in line with our current site so Javascript /
AJAX style transitions / effects would be a nice addition (tastefully done of course).
The site must be valid XHTML 1.0 Strict with valid CSS (by W3C standards) and the site
must adhere to good Web standards practice.
