Ajax-PHP circuit diagrammer

I am creating an Ajax-based PHP circuit diagram toolfor my seven-year-old son who creates circuits using a nice toy called snap circuits. Elements are never removed from the left navigation the act of drag and dropping simply drags a copy 3. Elements on the circuit board always show 'snap-to-grid-'behavior 4. Elements on the Circuit Court can be rotated 90° counterclockwise with each click of the rotation icon or via a right-click menu 5. Elements cannot be resized 6. Elements can move up or down in the hierarchy of layers. I assume we'll do this with a right-click move back or move down option 7. The diagram will be saved as a PNG file so that it may be edited at a later date I have found several websites which may be of help. This website is full of all kinds of information about draggable Ajax [login to view URL] D. Walter [login to view URL] library seems the most promising however it lacks snap to grid functionality and it lacks back to front layer adjustments.
