Thanks for the quick response! Let me first give you a brief summary of the site before I answer your questions. Think of thise site as an [login to view URL] but without the shippable products. Users can visit or log on to the site and upload their own information to be displayed on the site. They will enter a "title" for the information product, the price they are asking for, and any other relevant information. When somebody purchases this (or any) information the funds will be sent to one main account (My account) and a percent % of the profits will be given to the submitters once a month. 1) When people order and pay online I would like to have the information they payed for sent directly to the email inbox they provide. OR it would be fine to send them to a temporary download link is that is possible. 2) As for the database, it would be ideal to have it updated automatically. When a visitor submits/uploads information onto the site I would like to have the fields they entered (i.e.- Subject ______, Price ______ , Item number ______ ) stored to the database. I would also like the databse to show me how many times that particular product has sold. 3) I will not be selling any products. Visitors will be selling their information products and I will be taking a commision for storing, advertising, and selling their information products for them. 4) Html, php, flash and perl would be fine, however I want to limit the amount of animations on the site. This should give you a better understanding of my hopes for the site. If I've missed anything please let me know. A general estimate for how much the job would cost would help me out tremendously in my decision.
