Job description The RoR Developer engages in the development of World Wide Web applications that are run over the HTTP protocol from a web server to a web browser. The web developers work with the team to conceptualize and develop web-based applications that meet Arrowad’s expectations and overall project goals. The RoR developers work collaboratively with developers under a project lead. Ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of development experience, high technical aptitude, a positive team player attitude, and be excited and ready to be challenged technically and grow overall technical skills. Desired Skills and Experience One to three years general programming experience. Experience in web development using the Ruby on Rails web application framework. At least one year of Ruby on Rails programming experience. Create and setup a Rails environment, Code Review, Git, knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and JavaScript libraries (jQuery, MooTools, Prototype, etc.), SQL, and UNIX.
